A New Day at Aravina Estate
We are kicking off 2019 with the much anticipated return of a local favourite!
Executive Chef Ben Day has returned to the head of Aravina Estate’s kitchen and is set to launch a stunning new menu showcasing Autumn flavours with refinement and simplicity true to his signature style.
“Autumn is a great time of year to be cooking! With excellent quality produce coming through the kitchen doors from the best farmers and growers in WA. We’re keeping it simple with the new Aravina menu and letting the main ingredients shine. The direction is simple, fresh and balanced with a focus on healthy, eye pleasing dishes.”
“Our focus is on the very best of WA produce, from Wagin poultry, Pemberton marron and Margaret River venison. You’ll also see a consistent use of native and foraged ingredients throughout the menu with local macadamia, quandong, lemon myrtle to name a few.”
Before his time at Aravina, Ben was sous chef at Vasse Felix before guiding another Margaret River winery restaurant, Knee Deep to receiving Two Chef Hats from the Australian Good Food and Travel Guide 2015 and Two Stars (17/20) from the West Australian Food Guide 2015.
